The Markendale Ludwig Banjo Ukulele
Although Gordon Markendale had produced excellent copies of the Gibson and Abbott Banjo
Ukuleles, everyone was clamouring for a Ludwig copy.
It seemed that the prototype would never arrive and we all waited patiently for months. Gordon
would come along to the Blackpool Formby Society Conventions and show us his latest
resonator designs and tell us that it would be available soon.
Well, eventually the day came and the prototype Markendale Ludwig copy was born.
